Henry Arthur Forsbach worked in the Poston #6 mine which had an explosion in 1930 killing 85 miners. Henry suffered multiple injuries which bothered him until his death at age 64. He had been a coal miner all his life beginning at age 12 and worked in the coal fields of Southeastern Ohio where his working career ended in the 1930 mine explosion. He had been one of 19 men trapped but survived in spite of receiving injuries to his head and back which left him totally disabled the remainder of his life.
