In the name of God Amen. This Thirty First Day of March one Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety Five,
I William Murphy of Fishing Creek and county of Chester State of South Carolina, being Very Sick and weak in
body but of perfect mind and memory Thanks to almighty god for his mercies, and calling to mind the mortallity
of my body, @ knowing that it is apointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament, in manner following (Viz).
First and principally I recommend my soul into the hands of god who give it and ordain body to the Earth to be burried in a decent and Christian manner at the Direction of my Executors not Doubting but at the general resurrection I shall recieve the same by the mighty power of god. Secoundly I give and Bequeath unto my son
John Murphy one hundred acers of land Where on he now lives the Same to be Laid off Squear, bounding on
John Price and William Pains Line, Includeing his improvement--------. Al so I give to Marthaw Murphy one cow
and calf, Item I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Kidd one French crown and no more---Item, I give my daughter
Jenney my black horse called Dimond/ With his saddle and bridle. Item, I give my daughter Sarah my sorrel mare
with his saddle and bridle. ITEM, I give my son William my young Filley Called Talemon. ITEM, I give my son
James my black mear and the colt. My bay maer is with now. ITEM, I give my daughter Mary Watters one Cow one Calf, ITEM. I give and Bequeath to my Well beloved Wife Mary Murphy The Benefit of the remainder of my
land With all my moveable Property not bequeathed for her Support During her life or Widohoo, at Which time I order and it is my will that the land be eaquely devided between my two sons William and James (The Devision
to be made in quantity and quality as eaquel as possible. Allso I order at my wifes Death or Marriage that my
mooveable property be eaquelly devided between my two daughters Jenney and Sarah.
And I do constitute and apoint John Murphy Senior and My sons John and William Murphy to be my Sole executors of this my last will and testament and do hearby revoke all former wills ratefying and confirming this my
last will and no other Sighned Sealed published pronounced and Declared to be the last will and testament of
